Office Text Message Terms

Dolomite Child & Adult Psychiatry, PLLC
Effective September 26 2026
Terms for office texts from (312) 426-2705

Optional informational messages

By opting in, you agree to informational texts to the number you provide. Texting is optional and is not a condition of receiving care. Messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling, approved visit-link delivery, and two-way office replies. Business contacts may separately agree to administrative texts about insurance or credentialing. We do not use this program for marketing or clinical advice. Frequency varies with your interactions and appointments.

Consent and stopping messages

Patients choose through the separate Patient Text Message Consent or an equivalent documented, optional opt-in. Providing a phone number, signing treatment consent, or submitting an inquiry is not by itself permission for this program. Business contacts' agreement is documented for their own administrative communications.

Reply STOP to stop office texts. We also honor withdrawal communicated by another reasonable method to the office. A single non-promotional confirmation may follow. Opting out does not cancel appointments. Contact us to arrange an alternate reminder or visit-link method. We will not restart texts without a new documented opt-in.

For help, reply HELP, call (312) 426-2705, or email info@dolomitepsych.com. Tell us promptly if your number changes, belongs to someone else, or should no longer receive messages.

Costs delivery and privacy

Message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee delivery, timing, or that a message will be read. The practice name or appointment information may appear on a lock screen or be seen by someone with device or account access. Ordinary SMS is not a secure patient portal.

Do not send symptoms, diagnoses, treatment details, records, or other sensitive health information through ordinary text. The office may redirect the discussion to an approved channel. The Privacy Policy at https://www.dolomitepsychiatry.com/privacy-policy describes this program's data handling. Mobile opt-in information and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Emergencies

Texts are not continuously monitored and are not for urgent needs. Dolomite is not an emergency or on-call service. For an immediate medical or safety emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline; 988 does not replace 911 for an immediate emergency.
